Duties performed by employees

1. To report on time at site.
2. Look smartly and fully dressed at site.
3. To report any dangerous objects placed or found at client/s premises.
4. Report any suspicious objects to the control room and notify the SAPS /dog unit (in case if it is a bomb thread) or specialized unit as per the scene situation and its needs at that particular moment.
5. Safe cordon the area (in case of any incident).
6. Evacuate and control bystanders in case of emergency (for an ambulance/police in case of workers injury or pregnant situation).
7. To notify the control room about every situation every 45minutes of his/her patrol and log it down on an occurrence book.
8. To make sure that every window and door is closed and properly locked before client/s workers leaving the premises while they resume their duties.
9. KHULA RADEBE security officers are not allowed to use client telephone without the KHULA RADEBE’s concern or client, unless in case of emergency and its pre-approved by both Management.
10. Any member who may be found guilty of any offence, negligence or performing any illegal activity will be taken to disciplinary actions against him/her.
11. If the client is not satisfied with his/her performance then the client has a right to ask the Company for replacement, and that officer was on duty/replaced will be taken to disciplinary measures.
12. Remember all the security officers on duty are backed-up with KHULA RADEBE armed response and will be backed-up by SAPS if necessary.
13. To adhere to Psira and Labour rules and regulations monitored by superiors during the period of the contract between employer and employee complying with the Law of South Africa
